My Name is Bailey Race or RaileyBacePrints. (depending on who you ask)

I have no idea what I’m doing with this whole art thing.

(But I’m swinging for the fences.)

The Origin Story!

Before moving to Charm City and going to art school, I lived in a small, middle of nowhere town near Rochester, NY. While there, I had absolutely no training or focus in the arts at all, and I spent most of my time snowboarding, playing soccer, watching movies, or listening to music while playing video games. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I started to get involved with art and left my path to being an engineer behind. I was involved in a snowboard crash that caused me to go "Hey wait, I'm not going to be happy doing this!", so I took a second to re-evaluate where I was going, and decided to try something that I've never tried before, doing the whole art thing.

It wasn't easy to get to where I am, being quite honest I thought about giving up numerous times when I first started school and being an artist, but a little cricket on my shoulder told me to buck up and push forward, so I did. Bouncing between Graphic Design, Illustration, Architectural Design, and Sound Art, I finally landed myself in Printmaking, where I finally felt right at home. Soon after that, I tried screenprinting, and the rest, as they say, is history. I fell in love on the spot and knew immediately that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

So now, with a squeegee in one hand, and a song library of over five thousand songs in the other, I am attempting to fight crime and take on the world of art all at the same time, and having a kick-ass time doing it.
